Hey there! Get ready for a wonderful ride through Petracos, La Vall d’Ebo, and Pego. This lovely route spans 95 kilometers and boasts an elevation of 1,490 meters.

Bike ride: Petracos, La Vall d'Ebo, and Pego
Your adventure starts at Vuelta Turistica, where you’ll hop on a gorgeous rental bike or bring along your own trusty two-wheeler! Right away, the route will lead you to the famous Poggio, a fun climb that’ll really get your heart racing. Once you reach the top, get ready to soak in some stunning views before making your way to Benissa. As you travel through Senija, you’ll discover the charming village of Llíber, and then on to Xaló, where the delightful essence of Spanish villages warmly welcomes you!
Enjoying the tranquil Spanish countryside
After leaving Xaló, you’re in for a treat as you make your way to Alcalalí and Parcent, this time skipping the Coll de Rates. The road gently rises, a lovely ascent towards Castell de Castells. Halfway up, don’t forget to take a quick right turn towards La Vall d’Ebo. This route is truly a treasure for cycling lovers: a peaceful, picturesque road that climbs to about 600 meters. It’s the perfect spot to soak in the serene Spanish countryside and admire the beautiful nature around you. When you arrive in La Vall d’Ebo, take a moment to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink before tackling the final climb and descent towards Pego. Just a heads-up, the descent has some steep parts, so be sure to ride carefully!
Back towards Calpe from Xaló
Starting from Pego, let’s head towards Sagra and Tormos, making our way to the charming town of Orba. Once you’ve soaked in the sights, it’s time to turn back to Vuelta Turistica. On your return, we’ll pass through Alcalalí and Xaló, this time choosing the main road to Calpe. When you arrive in Calpe, take the quieter roads back to Vuelta Turistica, enjoying the lovely Salines de Calp lake along the way. Once you’re back, kick back, relax, and enjoy a drink or a recovery shake while swapping stories from the day with your fellow cyclists!
